About Information APGASIF Collects
APGASIF.org only collects PII that you voluntarily provide to us. This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the APGASIF Web site, www.apgasif.org and all subdomains. On some pages, you may make requests, participate in online surveys or register to receive materials or services. The types of personal information collected at these pages are name, title, company, mailing address, phone number, e-mail address, comments, suggestions or other information. The APGASIF Web site uses Google Analytics including Google Analytics Demographic and Interest Reporting to collect data about traffic via advertising cookies and anonymous identifiers. This information is not personally identifying and we do not sell, rent or share this information except where expressly set forth below. How APGASIF Uses Information
Broadly speaking, we use personal information for purposes of administering our business activities, providing membership service and making available other products and services to our members. Occasionally, we may also use the information we collect to notify you about important changes to our Web site, new services and special offers we think you will find valuable.
APGASIF uses non-identifying and aggregate information to better design the APGASIF Web site and share information with APGASIF Board Members. For example, APGASIF staff may report that X number of individuals visited a certain area on the APGASIF Web site. APGASIF staff may also report on the operating system, Web browser software (i.e., Google Chrome or Internet Explorer), screen resolution and referrer Web site of our online visitors. Information about your computer allows APGASIF to improve the content and services of interest to members and site visitors. However, APGASIF does not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.
APGASIF uses return e-mail addresses to answer the e-mail sent directly to APGASIF staff. If e-mail is received from an APGASIF member, APGASIF staff may add the individual’s e-mail address to the APGASIF database if the association does not currently have one entered for the individual. This information helps APGASIF improve electronic communication among APGASIF members, staff and other interested parties. APGASIF does not share this information with outside parties.
You may choose to make requests, participate in online surveys and register to receive materials or services. Information you submit on the APGASIF Web site will not be used for any other purpose. APGASIF provides you with the opportunity to specifically choose the communications you wish to receive from APGASIF.
APGASIF never discloses, rents, sells PII provided to us online.
Notice of New Services and Changes
Occasionally, we may also use the information we collect to notify you about important changes to our Web site, new services and special offers we think you will find valuable. As an APGASIF member, you will be given the opportunity to notify us of your desire not to receive these offers by clicking on a response box when you receive such an offer.
How Do We Secure Information Transmissions?
When you send confidential personal credit card information to us on our Web site, a secure server software which we have licensed encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. The information is scrambled en route and decoded once it reaches our Web site.
Other email that you may send to us may not be secure unless we advise you that security measures will be in place prior to your transmitting the information. For that reason, we ask that you do not send confidential information such as Social Security or account numbers to us through an unsecured email.
How Do We Protect Your Information?
Information Security We utilize encryption/security software to safeguard the confidentiality of personal information we collect from unauthorized access or disclosure and accidental loss, alteration or destruction.
Evaluation of Information Protection Practices Periodically, our operations and business practices are reviewed for compliance with corporate policies and procedures governing the security, confidentiality and quality of our information.
Employee Access, Training and Expectations
Our association values, ethical standards, policies and practices are committed to the protection of APGASIF member information. In general, our business practices limit employee access to confidential information, and limit the use and disclosure of such information to authorized persons, processes and transactions.

No we do not disclose any information to Outside Parties.
What About Legally Compelled Disclosure of Information?
We may disclose information when legally compelled to do so, in other words, when we, in good faith, believe that the law requires it or for the protection of our legal rights.

We are not responsible for the practices employed by Web sites linked to or from our Web site nor the information or content contained therein. Often links to other Web sites are provided solely as pointers to information on topics that may be useful to the users of our Web site.
